“See It, Snap It/Like It, Take It” is a unique photography event designed to immerse participants in the world of street photography. Try your hand at taking street photography images and view our "street" photo gallery. During our "See It, Snap It" scavenger hunt, we will visit popular street photography sites in downtown Vancouver where participants can capture images featuring shadows, reflections, gestures, and other classic street photography styles. With a variety of categories and challenges, our scavenger hunt is a fun and exciting way to discover new sights, meet new people, and unleash your inner photographer. Join us for an afternoon of adventure, creativity, and friendly competition, and see how your photos stack up against the rest! Those who complete the scavenger hunt will be eligible for prizes including VanSPC Zines and other swag.

Once you have completed the scavenger hunt, stop by our "Like It, Take It" pop-up street gallery to view VanSPC member photos. Discover the vibrant world of street photography in the "Pink Alley" (Between Hastings St and Pender St on Granville St). This hidden gem of the city is known for its stunning pink walls and colourful street art, making it the perfect backdrop for a showcase of images. What sets this exhibit apart is that visitors are not just here to admire the photos - they can take them home!
